Triathlon Challenge!
Hello, Hannah here. Many of you may know me as Kitty Golightly - in which case, just think of me as her mild-mannered-alter-ego...
Anyway, I run the Running For Matthew website and blog. Sandwiched between this, working all the hours God sends, keeping the house and keeping the kids, I sometimes get to do a bit of proper running as well...
2011 brings a new challenge! It consists of two triathlons, an adventure race and a marathon. I've chosen for raise money for Starlight, a fantastic charity that grants the wishes of terminally and seriously ill children.
Starlight's wishes are so much more than a nice treat - the children who receive them are often undergoing painful and prolonged medical treatment. No wish is too big, and it gives the children something to look forward to and hope for. When their wish is granted it gives them something to remember and hold on to when times are difficult.
I will be training very hard (six days a week, often twice a day...). I really hope that you will sponsor me and help me help Starlight bring some light into their little lives.
